Kalyanam Karoti, Mathura

The Kalyanam Karoti Eye Institute, a project of the Sankara Eye Foundation, USA with Kalyanam Karoti was inaugurated in Mathura, on January 20, 2025, by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The state-of-the-art hospital, with a capacity for 50,000 free eye surgeries annually, has opened its doors to the underserved people of Mathura and its neighboring districts.

This 300-bed super-specialty eye hospital is spread over an area of 78,000 sq. feet and has nine operating theaters. SEF, USA has partnered with Kalyanam Karoti, Mathura, since 2019 to provide free eye surgeries to the underserved in Mathura and several of its neighboring districts.
