However, we have a long way to go, for even today millions of Indians do not have access to basic eye care.” Divyogi Patel, SEF, USA COO concurred. “There is increased participation and synergy among all our partner institutions who are now united with a single vision. The March to a Million movement has gained huge momentum and given everyone a common purpose”, he said. Mritunjay Tiwary, the Founder of Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital, added, “Our capital expenditure and operation expansion plan is aligned with SEF USA’s vision. We aim to gain a surgical output of 300,000 free surgeries every year.” With the zealous support of the partners, SEF, USA’s M2M movement, is forging ahead to write a new future for charitable eye care in India.
