70-year-old Kalyani Devi arrived at the Bonli Eye Camp, organized by Sankara Eye Hospitals India, Jaipur, eager to pick out “a nice pair of spectacles.” But instead of free glasses, she received free cataract surgeries for both her eyes.

Just a year ago, cataracts clouded her world, and now, she can see life in full color thanks to the free surgeries. Today, she effortlessly manages her home and cherishes playful moments with her grandchildren. Her son, Madan Singh, who accompanied her to the camp, beamed with gratitude and praised everything from transportation, food, clean facilities and the compassionate doctors and staff.
