Hema Chamraj Executive Council Member

Hema Chamraj was introduced to SEF, USA by her husband Rajiv Chamraj, a thought leader at SEF, USA who helped develop its bold vision to eradicate curable blindness.

Hema led fundraising efforts for the Guntur Hospital along with other SEF, USA leaders by inspiring like-minded people from the Telugu community and aligning them to SEF, USA’s cause. She spearheaded collaborations with community organizations to garner support for the hospital. This methodology then became a template for fundraising for future hospitals where SEF, USA collaborated with the respective communities, recruited volunteers, and enabled the community to own the cause and raise funds.
